Janine has been a nurse since 2005 with experience in oncology, hospice and ER. She completed her undergraduate nursing program at the University of Virginia, her masters at George Mason University and her nurse practitioner program through Maryville University. She has been a Nurse Practitioner in adult and geriatric primary care since 2017, spending several years in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities before moving to this setting.

Janine has a genuine love for people and for working together to improve their quality of life. She believes in being open-minded and welcoming of all patients while bringing evidenced-based recommendations to their discussions.

She has 3 children and when not taking them to their activities, enjoys running, reading, taking in live music, watching hockey (Go CAPS!), listening to podcasts (healthcare and true crime) and spending time with her friends and family. She has recently become involved in the Service Dogs of Virginia organization and you may see her facility pup Heiser make a visit occasionally to brighten everyone’s day!

Amanda completed undergraduate studies at George Mason University, where she graduated at the top of her class. She has 7 years’ experience working in the surgical unit at Reston Hospital Center and spent 2 years coordinating care for residents of a local continuing care retirement community.

Amanda became licensed as a family nurse practitioner in 2021 after completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Radford University.

Outside of the clinic setting she stays busy caring for her 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her husband, listening to podcasts and medical debates, and squeezing in time with any of her 5 siblings when she gets the chance!
